Cost Currency

Select the currency used by the hotel — for example, if you are staying at a hotel in Stockholm, select Swedish Kronor (SEK). The currency will be converted to USD for the points calculation. The actual exchange rate used by Radisson may differ slightly from the rate used here, resulting in a small difference in estimated points.

Total Cost (excl. Tax)

Enter the total stay cost excluding taxes and fees, as shown on the hotel booking site or final invoice. Radisson Rewards base points are earned on the pre-tax room rate only — taxes and fees are excluded.

Total Cost (incl. Tax)

Enter the total stay cost including taxes and fees, as shown at the final stage of the booking process or on your invoice. This field is used for the return-on-spend calculation.

Discount Booster

Premium and VIP members can activate Discount Booster in their Radisson Rewards profile. When enabled, you receive up to 20% off the room rate on direct bookings, but earn significantly fewer points per dollar. Select the setting that matches your profile:
Discount Booster Off — Full points earning: Club earns 8 points/$1, Premium earns 27 points/$1, VIP earns 36 points/$1.
Discount Booster On — Reduced points earning in exchange for the room discount: Club earns 8 points/$1 (unchanged), Premium earns 9 points/$1, VIP earns 12 points/$1.
If you have Discount Booster enabled, enter the discounted room rate in the cost fields — the rate you actually pay after the discount is applied.

Status

Select your Radisson Rewards tier. Unlike most hotel programs where the tier bonus is a separate percentage on top of base points, Radisson combines the tier and Discount Booster setting into a single earn rate. The three tiers are:
Club — Entry level when joining; earns 8 points/$1.
Premium — Earns 27 points/$1 (or 9 with Discount Booster).
VIP — Earns 36 points/$1 (or 12 with Discount Booster).

Offers

Active Radisson Rewards promotions are listed here. Check any offer that applies to your stay. Unlike some hotel programs, many Radisson offers do not require registration — they apply automatically to eligible stays. Stay windows and booking deadlines are shown where applicable. Select the Custom Offer option to enter a new or targeted offer. You can choose from a fixed amount of bonus points per stay, per night, or a multiplier of the total base points.

Nights

This field only appears when needed to calculate points from an offer that is based on nights stayed.

Extra Points

Use this field for any additional points not covered by the other fields — for example, a targeted email offer or an app booking bonus.

Point Value

The assumed value of one Radisson Rewards point in US cents, used to convert your earned points into an estimated cash equivalent. The default of 0.2¢ per point reflects a typical redemption value. Radisson uses fully dynamic award pricing, so actual value per point varies depending on the property, dates, and room type. Note that while the per-point value is low compared to other programs, Radisson compensates with significantly higher earning rates per dollar spent.

Not Included in the Calculator

Radisson Rewards for Business: Meeting and event organisers can earn 5 points per $1 spent through the Radisson Rewards for Business program. This corporate earning is not included in the calculator.

Non-hotel earning: Radisson Rewards points can also be earned through partners. These earning methods are not covered here — the calculator only estimates points earned from hotel stays.
